OUR SERVICES

Skolasti is a cloud-based eLearning platform designed to facilitate the delivery and management of training programs. It provides features for creating and managing training content, tracking learner progress, conducting assessments, generating reports, and integrating with other systems. Skolasti is intended to assist organizations in improving training efficiency, enhancing learner engagement, making data-driven decisions, and scaling their training programs to meet their evolving need.

 

A.            INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU


We may collect Your following personal information either directly from you or from any third party:


1.      ACCOUNT AND LOGIN INFORMATION: We collect and process your username, password, email address, name, contact information, and any associated account details necessary to provide you with access to our Platform and Services.

 

2.      PROFILE INFORMATION: To tailor our Services to your needs, we gather information such as your job title, department, company, interests, preferences, and other relevant details related to your role and responsibilities within the organization.

 

3.      ACTIVITY DATA: We may monitor and record your interactions with the Platform, including course enrolments, progress, completion status, test scores, assignments submitted, and other activity data to enhance your learning experience and track your achievements.

Your data helps us customize the platform’s interface, recommendations, and notifications to fit your individual preferences and learning style. We also track user behaviour, such as course completion rates, time spent on the Platform, and search queries, to identify areas for improvement and enhance platform performance. 2.      FOR ADMINISTERING THE RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER - We process personal information to administer our relationship with our current and prospective customer. 1.      USERS: We will display your personal information in your profile page and elsewhere on the Site according to the preferences you set in your account. You should be aware that the administrator, as well as specially designated support personnel in order to provide support for technical issues you may face, may be able to: access information in and about your account; access communications history, including file attachments, for your account; disclose, restrict, or access information that you have provided or that is made available to you when using your account, including your content; and control how your account may be accessed or deleted.

 

2.      THIRD PARTIES: We do not sell your personal information or content and will not share or disclose any of your personal information or content with third parties except as described in this policy. We do not share personal information about you with third parties for their marketing purposes (including direct marketing purposes).

 

3.      SERVICE PROVIDERS, BUSINESS PARTNERS AND OTHERS: For security, service operation and management purposes, we also uses third-party services that provide hosting, storage backup and disaster management. Third-party vendors and providers supply the necessary hardware, software, networking and storage to run our Services namely user data, access logs, analytics, error logging etc.  These third parties have access to your personal information only for purposes of performing these tasks on our behalf.

 

4.      COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT: We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of InovarTech or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical, inappropriate or legally actionable.

 

5.      BUSINESS TRANSFERS: We may share or transfer your Information (including your Personal Information) in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. You will be notified on any change in ownership or uses of your Personal Information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your Personal Information.


C.     DATA RETENTION

We collect and process personal data in a transparent manner, to the extent necessary for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes, and do not process it further in a manner incompatible with those purposes. We take care that the data we collect are accurate and, when necessary, updated. We take all reasonable steps to immediately delete or rectify personal data, if inaccurate. We process data in a way that guarantees their security, including their protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or degradation, using appropriate technical or organizational measures. We take the appropriate technical and organizational measures for the security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data. Each domain’s data are retained for as long as the Customer’s paid subscription to the service lasts. If Customer elects not to renew a Subscription, Customer’s account is permanently deleted after 6 months period. We will provide reminder notifications before deleting Customer’s account.


D.     YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and request data portability of your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@skolasti.com. We may request additional information to verify your identity and process your request. Please note that we may deny or limit your request if it violates another person's rights or is not otherwise permitted by applicable law.

 

E.     DATA OWNERSHIP

Inovar owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Services, Customers retain ownership, control and all rights to their records and data which are their property.


F.     THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites and services. We have no control over such third-party services, which are provided by persons or companies other than Us. We are not responsible for any collection or disclosure of Your information by such companies or persons thereof. Further, We are not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by You as a result of the collection and/or disclosure of Your information via third-party services. We shall not be liable for any disputes arising from or in connection with such transactions between You and the aforementioned third parties. Such third-party websites and external applications or resources, accessible via the Platform may have their own privacy policies governing the collection, storage, transfer, retention, and/or disclosure of Your information that You may be subject to. We recommend that You exercise reasonable diligence before committing to any transaction or exchange of information, including but not limited to reviewing the third-party website or application’s privacy policy.

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is published in compliance with inter alia:

  • Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”);

  • Rule 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”); and

  • Rule 3(1)(a) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

In the event of a change in the law applicable to data protection in India, You hereby expressly consent to Our continued use, storage, collection and disclosure of Your information including personal information to the fullest extent permitted under such applicable law. We may reach out to You for obtaining additional consents and approvals as required under the amended law and You will be required to comply with such requests. Should You choose to not provide Us with such additional consents and approvals, We may have to discontinue your access to the Platform.
